Polaris Slingshot Hood Vents by DDMWorks adds function and styling to your Slingshot.
During high speed and wind tunnel testing on the Polaris Slingshot, a high pressure area in the wheel well was discovered that creates lift on the hood of the Slingshot at speed. The DDMWorks hood vents were designed expressly to help relieve this high pressure area, reducing lift on the hood, creating more front end stability at speed. The unique design of the vents has a similar pattern to those found in the rear view mirror supports and the cutouts in the fenders, making the hood vents look like they came from Polaris.
Our DDMWorks hood vents are CNC laser cut from rust proof, 6061 Aluminum and then finished is a ultra durable powdercoat finish in your choice of popular Polaris Slingshot colors. All stainless steel hardware needed for installation and full color instructions are included with the kit, ensuing a great looking setup for years to come.
Mesh Inserts are available as an option, the default color of the mesh is the color of the vent fame selected , However you can mix and match , just specify in notes, "mesh to be ____ ? "
Failure to specify mesh color in notes means you wish same color mesh as frames selected.
